Endra raises $20M seed round to speed up MEP engineering at global scale

STOCKHOLM, Dec. 17, 2025 – Endra, the AI platform for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) design, has raised $20 million in a seed round led by Notion Capital with continued participation from Norrsken VC, just six months after its pre-seed. Since Endra onboarded its first customers in August, more than 600 companies in over 90 countries have joined its waitlist.

The world needs 40% more construction output by 2030 and nearly 70% more by 2040. At the same time, 20% of today’s buildings must be retrofitted to meet zero-carbon-ready standards. Digital infrastructure is expanding even faster, with data center capacity set to triple this decade.

But the systems responsible for delivering all of this aren’t keeping pace. Productivity has barely improved in 20 years, labor shortages have nearly tripled, and project complexity continues to rise. Without a major shift in speed and digitalization, the world could fall $40 trillion short of required construction output by 2040.

“The world is entering a period of rapid and unprecedented construction activity. Workflows that currently take many months are completed in a matter of hours with Endra,” said Niklas Lindgren, CEO and co-founder of Endra. “This marks a clear before-and-after moment for a global MEP engineering sector that represents 5–6% of the total building construction industry.”

“Meeting Niklas, Anton and the team was a ‘conviction at first sight’ moment,” said Kamil Mieczakowski, General Partner at Notion Capital. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be leading Endra’s seed round to fuel their next stage of growth, including their first product launch and go-to-market push.”

Endra’s AI-driven platform goes straight at this bottleneck by replacing months of manual MEP work with a fully automated workflow. 3D models flow directly into Endra, which automatically designs core MEP systems – from outlets and lighting to fire alarms and cabling – producing code-compliant, clash-free 3D models plus all documentation, drawings and calculations.

“Endra is taking on one of the hardest technical problems in the built world. Demand grew so fast that we had to cap pilots and focus on a select group of leading partners. Now that we’re onboarding customers, the momentum is accelerating even more,” said Anton Juric, COO and co-founder of Endra.

“Doubling down on Endra only six months after leading their pre-seed was an easy decision. The team has made rapid progress, bringing traditionally 2D workflows into a fully automated 3D environment and attracting exceptional demand from major consultancies,” said Alexander Danielsson, Partner at Norrsken VC.
